Boys & Girls Clubs adopts "new” name

The Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Empire has voted to renew its commitment in honoring the founder of the local Club by rededicating the organization’s  name  as the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Clubs. This announcement was made Board President Cindy Kelley and Executive Director Vincent DelMonte during the dedication ceremony of the gymnasium at the original Frank Callen Club on Charlton St.  Additionally,the  gym  has been named in honor of long time Boys & Girls Club alumni and former staff members Walter B. Simmons and Edward Campbell.
